Hannah Knighton Holst is an artist with a strong inclination towards fibers. The artist graduated from School of Visual Arts in New York City, and she currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
Many of Holst's works incorporate text, objects, and sentimental nothings from past relationships. By doing so, she strings together remnants of what once was. The playful and inviting nature of her pieces challenge the viewer upon closer inspection. Holst is interested in provoking thought. More specifically, thoughts of the passive versus the active viewer, craft versus fine art, tangible versus intangible, and what is considered "too much."
